Tie One On

This very special mini dress from Alexis serves as the centerpiece for today’s blog post. With the roller coaster temperatures of spring, it is the perfect staple. You can never go wrong with winter white and this dress is a perfect example of that! It is a standout piece that I chose to wear for my Easter celebrating. The long sleeves have the perfect detailed flare and thin bows tied at each wrist. It is ultra feminine and flattering with a straight loose style and contrasting black bow tied at the neck. I paired the dress with an over the knee black suede heeled boot. A black Chanel wallet on a chain featuring Chanel’s signature flower, the camellia was my bag of choice. This is a simple ensemble to put together, but looks like so much more.  This is one of those outfits that can help boost your confidence and help you feel good even if you really aren’t!! Everyone has days like that. While this is the first time I am wearing this piece, I know it will be a popular, no brainier choice often. xo B

Flying in Fringe

Today is a day I have been waiting for for a long while, Spring Break 2k16! It’s been a long semester and I am thrilled to be leaving today and heading to Miami. For the flight I am choosing to wear a casual outfit that will transition from colder weather to (hopefully) sunny, warm Miami.  Not wanting to look like the typical tourist in my weather ready outfit on the plane, I am wearing my most ripped, destroyed, comfy pair of Zara jeans, with plenty of “air conditioning”. They are comfortable for landing weather, yet appropriate for cold weather as well.  I paired them with a simple James Perse white T, perfect for almost any ensemble and am topping off the outfit with a suede fringe jacket.  I couldn’t resist wearing sandals, so I am wearing my fringe flats to go with the jacket.  As I was getting ready, I thought, Not bad, this would make a good Festival outfit as well! Coincidence that this weekend is ULTRA Music Festival 2016?!?!?! Well played, me!! This outfit is very versatile and could be worn with white jeans or jean shorts or a variety of short shorts. Heels can be added for a little dress elevation or an evening out. While this week of R&R will most likely be spent with loved ones on the beach and by the pool, who knows what those Miami nights could bring? No matter what, I am just super ready for a week in the sun.  Stay tuned on Instagram @buzzfromtheB and on FaceBook for a fun week of fashion ideas.  xo B
